Government funding alone is not sufficient to operate the Samaritans Crisis Line. Samaritans Crisis Line relies on the generosity of individuals and organisations to ensure we can continue to provide support services to those on the brink of suicide, or at risk of becoming so.
Without the generosity of our supporters, the Samaritans Crisis Line could not operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Your donations will help us to:
- Improve and expand our operations to reach a greater number of people
- Increase advertising for much needed volunteers
- Provide training and support to our volunteers
- Increase our ability to provide education on suicide awareness and prevention
- Create greater awareness of Samaritans Crisis Line services within our community.

Ongoing Donations
If you would like to assist the Samaritans Crisis Line on a regular basis or find it easier to make smaller, regular donations you may wish to consider an ongoing donation. In supporting us this way with regular payments you assist us in planning effective ways of making use of your kind donations to maximise our service provision.
