Samaritans Crisis Line Speakers. Teaching you to help others.

The Samaritans Crisis Line uses educational speakers as a powerful tool to educate the community on issues relating to depression and suicide and raise awareness of what we can all do to help create a world where fewer people die by suicide.

Our experienced speakers educate others on the following topics:

• The Samaritans as a suicide prevention agency
• Warning signs, risk factors, aims, myths and facts associated with suicide
• The purpose of feelings
• The value of listening
• Basic effective listening skills which can be used to support people in distress.

If you are a parent, teacher, student or are part of an agency or community group you will benefit from listening to a Samaritans Crisis Line speaker.
