West Coast Eagle Mark Nicoski joins the Samaritans Crisis Line
Date Published: 10/05/2011
West Coast Eagles forward Mark Nicoski recently joined the Samaritans Crisis Line as an Ambassador for the organisation.
At his first public appearance for the Samaritans Crisis Line Mark spoke of his desire and passion for helping young people entering adulthood and the challenges they face.
"I've had some difficult times in my career with injuries and I have felt so fortunate to have had the support of my family during these times", said Mark. "I know there are people out there facing difficult situations who don't have this support".
Mark's passion for helping others began when visiting children at Princess Margaret Hospital and mentoring young players coming up through the WAFL.
It was this passion that led Mark to the Samaritans Crisis Line. In addition to being a public representative for the organisation Mark also hopes to play a part in some of the youth outreach activities.
The Samaritans Crisis Line is delighted to have Mark's support and look forward to working with him in the future.
