Shadow of Suicide Support Service
You’re not alone
Living in the shadow of suicide can be hell.
The grief is like no other.
The feelings of guilt, anger, confusion and sorrow can be incredibly intense.
And surviving, for merely one day at a time, may be all that you can cope with right now.
Being able to talk to someone about your lost loved one is one way to share your sorrow.
The Samaritans offer you the opportunity to:
- Talk openly about your innermost feelings
- Express your frustrations
- Work through your grieving in a safe, supported and non-judgmental environment.
This service exists to provide support for anyone who has experienced the suicide of a relative or close friend.
Telephone support or confidential appointments are offered to suit your needs. Trained and experienced Samaritans encourage anyone wanting Shadow of Suicide support to talk openly about their feelings in connection with the suicide – with a freedom they may not find in their lives at present.
The Samaritans is a non-religious, non-political organisation that has worked in suicide prevention in Perth for over 40 years.
